Malcolm Ching

Malcolm Ching, AMS, PCAM

Malcolm starting with the Waikele Community Association in 1997.  As a Covenants Specialist he introduced the use of digital photography as a effective tool for enforcement. He was promoted to Covenants Manager in 2000 and then unto General Manager in 2003. 

He currently holds an Association Management Specialist (AMS) and a Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designation by the Community Association Institute (CAI).

Malcolm is best known as the founder of TAAG (Taking Action Against Graffiti).  Hawaii's first fast response graffiti team that started in 2004.  TAAG has gain the reputation of being one of the most effective and successful anti-graffiti teams in the State of Hawaii with over 40 dedicated volunteers that patrol the Waikele community on a daily basis.  TAAG has been featured on KHON , KITV, the Honolulu Advertiser, the Honolulu Star Bulletin, and radio interviews with Rick Hamada and Senator Fred Hemmings.

In 2008, Malcolm became the first recipient of the “Aaron Chaney Property Manager of the Year” award sponsored by Building Management Hawaii magazine.
